Who we are

TECK.net Inc. ("we", "us") is a Carson City, Nevada-based professional services company providing hosting, custom web development, business-automation tooling, and related services to customers ("you"). Our principal place of business is in Carson City, NV, United States.

Information we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to provide our services:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and billing address when you sign up or contact us.
• SMS opt-in — if you sign up for customer-care text messages, we collect your phone number, optional name, the exact consent text you agreed to, your IP address, your browser's user-agent, and the date/time of submission. This audit trail is required by the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
• Service usage data — when you use our hosted services, we record server logs (IP address, timestamps, request paths) for security, billing, and capacity planning purposes.
• Payment information — billing details are processed by our payment provider and integrated bookkeeping system. We retain transaction records as required by tax and accounting law.
• Integrations — if you authorize us to connect to a third-party service on your behalf (e.g. QuickBooks, video hosting, domain registrars), we store the necessary credentials and metadata to perform the agreed integration.
• Cookies — we use strictly-necessary cookies only. A splash_preview cookie lets internal users preview the live site behind our "coming soon" splash; if you log into a customer area, a session cookie keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• reCAPTCHA — our forms use Google reCAPTCHA v2 to prevent automated abuse. reCAPTCHA may collect device and browser information and send it to Google; use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages, you agree to receive messages from TECK.net at the number you provided for customer-care purposes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We will not share your mobile opt-in data or consent record with any third party for their marketing purposes, and we will not share your phone number with affiliates for marketing.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to deliver and improve the services you've contracted for, to bill you, to respond to support requests, to maintain security, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties.

Sharing with third parties

We share information only when necessary to deliver services you've requested or as required by law. Common examples include:

• Domain registrars and DNS providers when registering or managing domains on your behalf.
• Email infrastructure providers when delivering messages to or from your accounts.
• Bookkeeping and payment-processing partners when invoicing or processing payments.

Data retention

We retain account and transaction records for as long as we have an active relationship with you and for any additional period required by applicable tax, accounting, or other legal requirements. Server and security logs are retained on a rolling 90-day window unless a longer period is required for an active investigation.

We use industry-standard practices — encrypted transport (TLS), encrypted storage of credentials, role-based access controls, and regular security review — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
